Trust comes from restrained data collection, visible sources, and release claims that match the evidence.

Honest limits

Provider, coverage, traffic availability, and degraded states stay visible instead of being hidden behind optimistic copy.

Calgary and Kelowna.
Regional context.

Search and routing are live in Calgary and Kelowna, with intercity routing tested between them. Ontario overlays do not imply Ontario navigation coverage.

Backend live: Calgary and Kelowna search, local routes, and intercity routes are certified.
Expansion plan: Canada, the United States, and Mexico after regional quality gates pass.
Live traffic: No live traffic yet. A licensed provider is under review; Google and Apple traffic are not mixed into the open map, and no traffic claim ships before the contract and road tests.

Current internal beta

Real navigation, still earning its range.

Ready now: The regional API, route alternatives, road context, webcams, and fixed public facilities are live. Existing signed builds remain Calgary-compatible.
Next field gate: Sign and install the regional client, then repeat locked-phone, on-road, voice, wired-CarPlay, and wireless-CarPlay validation before tester attachment.
Not shipped: Ontario search and routing, broader British Columbia coverage, licensed live traffic, lane guidance, Android, offline routing, and public community incident reports.

Trust the road signs first.

NavOSS is pre-release software, not a substitute for posted signs, road laws, closure notices, or good judgement. Have a passenger operate test builds while moving.
